Who is this course for? That’s simple, it’s for the guitarist who has been playing for a little while or a few years and knows the basics of guitar and guitar chords.

Will this course teach me more chords and when to use them? Yes! We will focus on how the guitar is used in popular recorded music from the 50’s to the present. We will talk about different styles and techniques many guitar players use.

Will I learn to play bar chords? We will talk about bar chords, how they are used, when to use them, and how to substitute them based on the style of music you are playing.

Will I learn to use the guitar to write melodies? Yes, we will study how to create single-note melodies on the guitar.
