Each and every song has its own individual thumbprint. And just like your thumbprint is only yours, every song is also an individual. For this reason the study of rhythm becomes very important.
Rhythm is the timing of life. We all have a heartbeat. No two hearts are identically ticking at the same rate. We are all different! This difference is your individual flavor, color, and emotion that you need to pour into each song; your thumbprint. It gives the song its personality, an extension of your own personality.
The audience is waiting to hear your personality in your music, your thumbprint. Your individual rhythm. Don't let them down. Don't substitute using someone else's personality. Develop yourself, develop your rhythm and let your music shine!
Let's conquer rhythm!
