Tempo
Music is based in time, a steady, recurring pulse that makes us tap our feet, dance, and nod our heads. These are all examples of how we keep rhythmic time.
Music can be played at a slow tempo such as in a blues ballad,
or at a fast tempo in an EDM dance track,
or anywhere in between.
