Let's discuss measures.

When we look at our Main Counter, it displays to us the Measure, Beat, and Sub-Beat we are currently on in Pro Tools.

In the graphic below we are on Measure 1, Beat 1, and Sub-Beat 000, that's typically the beginning of our song.

In this graphic, we are at Measure 37, Beat 3, Sub-Beat 000, we are 37 measures into our song.
